We are currently seeking a full-time Activity Therapy Supervisor to join our team covering all GA DOC facilities throughout the state of Georgia. Position will be remote based but will travel to facilities throughout the state on an as needed basis.

The Behavioral Health Activities Therapist Supervisor (Georgia) is responsible for supervising, guiding, and instructing work assignments of activity/recreational therapy staff; collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to coordinate the overall therapy needs and service provision required for behavioral health patients in a correctional setting; and providing direction of recreational/social/vocational activities to accomplish treatment objectives and foster skill building and problem solving in support of psychological stabilization for patients in a correctional setting. Bachelor of science degree in therapeutic recreation or related therapeutic discipline from an accredited educational institution Three (3) years of related experience in recreational therapy One (1) year of experience in a supervisory capacity Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Must be able to pass a background investigation and drug test Pay Range: $59k - 69k with reimbursed travel expenses.
