Welcome to North America’s largest museum of Armenian art, artifacts, and culture. Located in Southfield, Michigan, the museum’s eight galleries offer a unique glimpse of Armenia’s past and present.
Opened in 1992, the Alex and Marie Manoogian Museum was built with a dual purpose: it is both an artistic endeavor and an attempt to reconstruct the history of the Armenian people through the ages. The museum houses an eclectic collection that spans more than three millennia, bringing coherence to the Armenian people’s history, which is fraught with hardships and glories.
