Dr. Ara G. Tilkian, MD, is a board-certified cardiologist specializing in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology.
He practices at Cardiovascular Consultants Medical Group in Mission Hills, California, and is affiliated with Providence Holy Cross Medical Center. Dr. Tilkian earned his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine and completed his internship, residency, and fellowship at Stanford University Hospital & Clinics. With over 35 years of experience, Dr. Tilkian has served as the Medical Director of Cardiology at Providence Holy Cross Medical Center, where he developed the cardiovascular program. He has authored numerous articles and two cardiology textbooks, with particular interests in acute stress-induced heart disease and extending human longevity. Dr. Tilkian is fluent in English and Armenian and is currently accepting new patients.
