Harut Der-Tavitian, President of Excel Hye Insurance Services, started his insurance career in 1975 as a marine cargo claims surveyor and adjuster. For the next 7 years, he was involved in many areas of claims handling and management (marine, auto, fire, commercial, and workers' compensation). In 1982, he moved into Sales, Management, and Business development. In 1993, he established his own insurance agency, which has been growing successfully ever since. We also have a proven record of community involvement and volunteer services in the fields of education, art & culture, health care, youth activities, and sports. We've run the LA Marathon several times and we'll go the extra mile for our customers.
