The Mkrtchyan Art Gallery, established in 1991 by Armen Mkrtchyan, holds the distinction of being Armenia's first private art gallery. Its mission is to promote Armenian art both domestically and internationally.
Over the years, the gallery has organized numerous exhibitions in countries including the USA, Lebanon, Russia, Belgium, Cyprus, and France. In recognition of its excellence, the gallery was honored with the Quality Crown Award in 2002. In 2010, the Mkrtchyan Art Gallery expanded its reach by opening a branch in Glendale, California. This branch continues to showcase a variety of unique artworks, furthering the gallery's commitment to sharing Armenian culture with a global audience. The gallery's collection features masterpieces from notable Armenian artists such as Arshil Gorky, Eduard Artsruniac, and Ashot Hovhannisyan.
