The Foundation strived to overcome the difficulties encountered by all Armenians emigrating from all over the world and prepare educational grounds for Armenians away from their homeland.
Narek Cultural Foundation was first established in September, 1989, in Glendale, California, through the dedicated efforts of Mrs. Rima Sarian, founder and President of the board. Narek Cultural Foundation's goal is to provide a useful education and to promote American and Armenian values.The children are expected to love and respect American culture,the English language,their native language,as well as their own culture and history.
