About

In 1985, the Armenian community of Pasadena began to establish its parish. Mass was performed every Sunday at a rented Church for nearly 17 years.

In 2003, the parish purchased the current property, which was blessed and consecrated in October of 2005 by His Holiness Aram I, Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia.
Over the years the building has gone through numerous renovations including the addition of a dome and two bell towers in 2007. The dome’s stained glass windows were designed by Los Angeles based Armenian artist Simon Simonian of Progressive Art Stained Glass Studio. The final touches were completed on October 5th, 2008 when 3 large stone crosses were blessed and installed on top of the dome and bell towers.
